The Wine
The Tenuta San Guido is a 7,500-acre estate located in the province of Livorno on the western coastal outskirts of Tuscany near the village of Bolgheri. Guidalberto is the second wine of Sassicaia. A Super-Tuscan with an international fame, Sassicaia, "the place of many stones", is considered today by many to be the new destination of Italy's great red wines for its consistent excellence and its intuitive spirit.
Tasting Notes
This red has a medium body, soft tannin, medium heavy acidity and high alcohol that are in perfect balance. Its flavours consists of Cassis, Black Plums, Forest Berries, Chocolate, Bark Greenest, Cinnamon Spice and Wet Earth with a juicy, succulent finish. The Guidalberto is one of our best reds ever.
