Being the most well-known name for sweet white wines of France, the land of Monbazillac extends south of Bergerac on steep slopes exposed to the north, on the left bank of the Dordogne. Made from three kinds of grape variety, the grapes are hand picked and screened carefully to ensure that the ingredients of the best quality go into the wine.
This Monbazillac has a yellow color that will darken and move into the more pronounced orange shades over the years. Sweet, it is powerful and full-bodied on the palate with aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers and freshly cut grass.
This wine pairs perfectly with cheese, parsley pâté & foie gras.
