The family owns the Château de Chassagne - Montrachet, a beautiful burgundy castle with cellars dating back to the 11th and 14th centuries. Spurred on by Francine Picard in 1951, the vineyard is grown biodynamicaly (organic) since 2010.
With an intense and brilliant deep red colour in the glass, gorgeous aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and hints of leather open in the glass. This Pommard Michel Picard 2011 gives you crunchy red fruit and a vibrant, refreshing acidity on the palate. Pommard is well known for its powerful Pinot Noir and this one is no exception!
